This Halloween, join the Teal Pumpkin Project movement by placing a teal pumpkin outside your doorstep to signify you have non-food items for trick-or-treaters with food allergies.
Purchase a Take & Make Teal Pumpkin Kit and join Hy-Vee Dietitian Nina for an educational and fun class to learn more about the Teal Pumpkin project, food allergies and decorate a teal pumpkin for your house!
Each kit contains the following:
o 1 small pumpkin
o Teal paint and sponge
o A few fun items to decorate your teal pumpkin
o A Teal Pumpkin Project goodie bag
Nina will go LIVE on Tuesday, October 27th at 10:00 a.m. on Zoom with a brief educational class about the Teal Pumpkin Project and tutorial on how to make your own teal pumpkin.
Tickets for this event are specific for kit pick-up at the Edwards River Public Library. Purchased kits will be available for pick-up October 22 - October 26.
