Call for Art

Submission Guidelines:

Artwork must be original, professionally presented, and include the following information:

• Clear, digital images of your artwork.
• Image List: Title of the artwork, medium, and dimensions
• Artist Statement: A brief artist statement or description of artwork
•  Contact Information: Artist name, address, phone number, and email address

Artists can submit their applications in one of three ways

1. Email: edwardsriverlibrary@gmail.com
2. In Person: Digital Storage Device (Flash Drive) or Printed Images
3. Mail:    Edwards River Public Library

                Aledo, IL 61231

THE DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES IS MONDAY, AUGUST 26, AT 5 P.M.

General rules and guidelines:

·         All age groups use the library on a regular basis. Proposed exhibits should be suitable for viewing by all ages.

• Exhibits of local origin and interest will be given priority consideration.
• Exhibitor must sign an indemnification agreement holding the library harmless from liability in case of damage, loss, or theft.
• Displays must include signage indicating the name of the individual or the organization responsible for the exhibit.
• The library cannot provide storage space for display items.
• Exhibits must present no fire, safety, or personal hazard.
