A Visit from Jason, the Mad Mixture Scientist

Our Summer Reading Program involves more than just reading; it also involves watching things go up in smoke.

We got all the way through the show
without fire trucks or police.

On June 20, we met in the library basement for the Mad Mixture Science Program. Jason, a our visiting scientist, brought a lab-ful of excitement from the Grout Museum in Waterloo, Iowa.

Tyler didn't need much help.

Jason needed help with some of the more difficult experiments. Fortunately, Tyler Campbell  was willing to help.
Just when you think you've made it through
the whole show without snakes....

We've got more entertaining events planned for this month at the library. They're free and open to the public.

June 9: Furry Friends Petting Zoo
June 20: Mad Mixture Science Program
June 27: Fire Truck / Extinguisher Training
June 30: Magic Show
(All activities begin at 10:00 a.m.)
